GOD'S WILL

GOD'S WILL is GOD'S WISH which reveals the best path or the best decision for given problem in our life how ever critical it is. God's will helps us to walk in the ways of god. God's will can be categorized into two parts

1.     God's Sovereign Will

2.     God's Specific will

God's Soverign will is common for all the believers and it cannot be changed.

God's specific will is for a particular person which states the best way to choose.

Jesus Prayed to the Father when he was about to handed over to the soldiers before the day of holding the cross. Jesus Himself  prayed earnestly that father "if it is possible to pass this cup from me then allow it but not according to my desire but according to your will". Jesus submitted to the will of father for his glory.

This speaks about the two wills
 1. The will of Father(Sovereign Will)
 2. The will of Jesus(Specific Will)

Most of the soverign will of god can be found in the word of god.
The specific will of god can be know only through prayer in holy spirit. God answers the prayer in several ways.

Some of the ways are

1.DAILY PORTION of the word of god

2.Gifted speakers

3.Visions

4.Fellow believers

5.Through the inner peace in our heart

6.Through Voice(external)

7.God has his own way to communicate(we can't say even as above 6 kinds, some time he conveys even with donkey's)

Each person can grasp the voice of god according to their gift of holy spirit.

The importance of god's will is given in bible by the very word of LORD JESUS as to stay any believer to be spiritually fit. "'My Food',said Jesus, is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.".Food is prominent source of getting energy to physical body. Similarly spiritual body needs the food to stay fit. A believer fails occassionally and confess his sin each and everytime just because he is not walking in god's will. He cannot withstand to the temptations and trails that comes in his way. Lord Jesus won all the tempatations in his earthly life because he is very clear about what god's will is.
